Natìo – DOC Colli Euganei Rosso

The maceration of Merlot, Carménère and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested at full maturity of seeds as well, is practiced in oak barrels and pushed for as long as 6/8 months. The resulting wine surprises for the extreme adherence to the character of the grapes and of the area, and for the depth, instead of the exuberance, of the sensations that it gives.
Named “Natìo” as it is a unique and unrepeatable son of each particular vintage.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carménère


14,5 % vol.

In Arquà Petrarca, on warm, shallow soils of limestone flakes. Vineyards of 15 and 35 years.

It ferments in oak barrels of 10 and 30hl with a maceration of 6-8 months, then about three years of ageing in the same casks. It is not clarified nor filtred.

Service and pairing
Uncork a few hours before, serve around 18°C. To be enjoyed with a stew or roast beef.
